District to Install Solar Power Arrays

Elida Schools will be installing two solar arrays in the district this summer! This solar project with Entrust, LLC of Hamilton, Indiana will provide signficant cost savings to the district and our taxpayers and enables us to be responsible with our energy use in the district. The 2 megawatt PV solar system will help fund other energy conservation measures in the district including Lighting retrofits, HVAC controls, heating water boilers, and domestic water heating systems. We are excited to be one of the first in the region to make these significant improvements in our school district.
