ACT Test for Juniors: March 9

State law requires that schools administer a state-funded ACT or SAT to all students in grade 11 in the spring of the school year. On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Elida High School will be administering the ACT to juniors at no cost to students. In order to test students safely in a smaller setting, all other students attending Elida High School ONLY will be working in a remote environment on Tueday, March 9. Completing the ACT will require all EHS juniors, including those in a remote educational setting or participating in College Credit Plus, to report in-person. While this date was previously scheduled to be a two-hour delay for the district, testing protocols require students to begin testing prior to the scheduled delayed time. For this reason, juniors ONLY will report in-person on March 9th at 7:40 and will be provided a complimentary breakfast in the cafeteria. All other grade levels will be required to complete a remote assignment for each class they are enrolled.

The 2020 High School Reflector Yearbook Update

The 2020 Reflector Yearbook Update: "Unleashed" is currently set to arrive in April. Publication was delayed due to the closing of the district in the spring, and the lasting effects of the national COVID-19 shutdown further complicated delivery. We regret this delay, but as with other aspects of life since COVID, we have no choice but to be patient. The Reflector appreciates your support and we will make sure to notify buyers AS SOON as the shipment arrives on campus. Any extra copies of the 2020 book will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis at that time.

Athletic Dept. Rolls Out "Healthy Roster"APP healthy roster

Healthy Roster FLYER. Mercy Health Sports Medicine and Elida Athletic Department are rolling out a new electronic medical records system called Healthy Roster for High School athletes only. Healthy Roster will be utilized by your athletic trainer to document injury evaluations, treatments and rehab protocols. Along with this making medical documentation easier, Healthy Roster has a parent/guardian side where you can communicate with the athletic trainer and view certain portions of the documentation process to stay informed at all times. Coaches will also have access to stay current and involved with the athlete's plan of care. Overall, Healthy Roster will make communication of an athletic injury between athletic trainer, parent, and coach a BREEZE!
