State law requires that schools administer a state-funded ACT or SAT to all students in grade 11 in the spring of the school year. On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Elida High School will be administering the ACT to juniors at no cost to students. In order to test students safely in a smaller setting, all other students attending Elida High School ONLY will be working in a remote environment on Tueday, March 9. Completing the ACT will require all EHS juniors, including those in a remote educational setting or participating in College Credit Plus, to report in-person. While this date was previously scheduled to be a two-hour delay for the district, testing protocols require students to begin testing prior to the scheduled delayed time. For this reason, juniors ONLY will report in-person on March 9th at 7:40 and will be provided a complimentary breakfast in the cafeteria. All other grade levels will be required to complete a remote assignment for each class they are enrolled.
