Please see the document with details on the Elida Reopening Plan. Revised on August 7. Thank you!

Fifth Grade Schedule Pick/Up Tours

Elida Middle School will be allowing 5th grade students to come into the building and pick up schedules on Friday, August 7th. (This is OPTIONAL.) Being new to the building, 5th grade students may walk through the building to get an idea of where their homerooms are and where their locker is.  To limit the number of students and socially distance in the building, times are scheduled based on last names. Students and one adult may enter the building and they must wear masks while in the building. The tour will be self guided and a map of the building will be available. 8:00-9:00am Last name A-C; 9:30-10:30 Last name D-J; 11:00-12:00 Last name K-M; 12:30-1:30 Last name N-S; 2:00-3:00 Last name T-Z. If students don't attend on Friday they will receive their course list (which includes homeroom teacher info.) when it is posted onto schoology later this week. Also, more information will be mailed  to families with details for signing into Schoology.

Covid Reopening Guidelines

Allen County Superintendents along with Allen County Public Health have released the following guidelines for reopening schools in Allen County.  We know that many people, including students, families, and staff members, are anxious about what a return to school looks like.  These are just guidelines for us to follow as we work to finalize our plan for the coming school year.  Our goal is to implement the best plan possible for everyone, and to be as accommodating as we can for everyone.  Later this week we will release our district plan so that families can plan for what's ahead.  Thank you for your patience as we prepare for this. Click here for full plan.
