Elida School Board Meetings 
Board meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend. Board meetings are normally held in the Community Room of Elida High School, 401 E. North St., at 6:30 p.m. The board occasionally conducts special meetings when district matters need immediate attention.

Danielle McClure is sworn in as new Elida School Board member on Tues., July 21, 2026 to fill vacancy created when Jaired Birks resigned on June 30, 2026.

The regular monthly Board of Education meetings are listed below and will be held at 6:30 pm at the Elida High School Community Room, 401 E. North Street. However, June, July & August meetings will all be held at the Board of Education Central Office Conference Room, 4380 Sunnydale.

Elida School Board Members 

Five citizens are elected to the board.Each member serves a four-year term. To maintain continuity, the terms are staggered. The board is a policy-making body that represents both the State of Ohio and district residents on all matters and decisions regarding public education. No individual member has the independent authority to speak for the board.
