Elida Local School District is partnering with Ohio Department of Education and the Graduation Alliance to help support students in K-12 by providing free academic coaches that work with families to help ensure students are successful in and out of the classroom. The program entitled “Engage Ohio” provides outreach counselors who will reach out to each student eligible for these services through their parents or guardian. Families may opt into these free services once they are notified. Academic success coaches will communicate with students and families through text, email, phone, or video-conference on a regular basis to provide support for academics, attendance, or services needed for your students to be successful at school. Please review the attached document for more information. If you know you would like your student to receive these free Engage Ohio services, please email Julie Simmons at Julie@elida.k12.oh.us to add their name to the list.
